It is with great pleasure that I join the Constable School community, a unique environment where teaching and learning flourish, for the final phase of this most unprecedented 2020-2021 school year.
At this time, I am shifting my administrative responsibilities in the South Brunswick School District from the Supervisor in Residence (Pre-K-12) to the Acting Assistant Principal of Constable School. In previous years, I have served as an Interim Assistant Principal in both Cambridge and Greenbrook Elementary Schools (Fall 2018) and as the Replacement Assistant Principal in Brunswick Acres (Spring 2019). Prior to those assignments, I have served as a tenured Assistant Principal in Readington Township Schools and as an Interim Assistant Principal in Flemington-Raritan School District. At the collegiate level, I have supervised student teachers at Rider University and provide instruction for pre-service teachers at Centenary University.
Before leaping into school leadership, I taught in a range of elementary classrooms in both New Jersey and California. Along my teaching path, I was fortunate to earn the Presidential Award in Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) given by the White House.
I have earned my B.A. in Liberal Arts and teaching credential from San Diego State University, my M.A. in Educational Administration from New York University and my Ed.D in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to my professional interests, I enjoy swimming, hiking, paddle-boarding, traveling, cooking and volunteering (I am currently a Tewksbury Township Board of Education member). I am honored to serve the Constable School community and look forward to working with the students, staff and parents of this extraordinary school. Together we will synthesize our efforts in making this the best year possible! Let’s Go Constable Cubs!
